A history panel including Brentwood and North Brentwood leaders will discuss the evolution and history of race relations, area segregationist practices, and divisions between the two communities.

Fair Housing Films and Panel Discussion
Joe’s will screen two short films on housing discrimination, racial segregation, and persistent institutional racism, “All the Way Home” and “A Matter of Place”. After the screening, we will host a panel discussion with experts on un-fair housing history and practices.

The Barrier Project by Orange Grove Dance Company
The performance brings awareness to a racial landmark that is still in existence in 2019. Orange Grove Dance will conduct interviews and use their process called “memory mapping” to conjure up and create this public event, abstractly highlighting the past, present, and future of such a landmark.
